<p>Hi 3D printing friends! &nbsp;This design is a cupholder that fits a Porsche 914 center-console but could essentially slide onto any vertical piece of material of similar thickness. It was designed to be removed easily in the event you want to take a drive without it :)</p><p>The majority of the print was PETG for the higher temperature resistance (i.e. sitting in the car and warm drinks) and the inner flexible parts were TPU (slide into place &amp; help hold smaller drinks to keep them from spilling).</p><p>The TPU parts had the following settings:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>0.4 mm nozzle</li><li>0.2 layer height</li><li>20% infill (gyroid)</li><li>With Supports</li><li>No raft or brim</li></ul><p>The PETG parts had the following settings:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>0.4 mm nozzle</li><li>0.2 layer height</li><li>30% infill (gyroid)</li><li>No supports (printed cups facing upward and mounts facing downward)</li><li>No raft or brim</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>UPDATE 8-15-22: Added a “Version 2” that has elongated oval weight cuts in the main cupholder, and joins the freestanding wall that was a bit weak which improves the overall strength/durability.&nbsp;</p>
