The new 1-2s brushless motors have significantly more power than the old brushed whoops and they've been chewing through my printed frames. Printing a more durable frame usually means more weight and longer print times which in turn leads to less performance and less time flying. After spending about 3+ hours on a new 1s 75mm build (printing, cleaning, transferring hardware from old frame) a routine crash ended with the frame in the trash (receptacle). In addition to the time spent transferring components, I also hate moving the small parts from frame to frame due to the wear and tear it causes on the flight controller connections with tiny AWG wires. This rendition of my go-to 75mm frame is designed to have reciprocal components which will allow you to easily swap out each corner of the whoop without any of the headaches I've mentioned above. The frame can be printed quickly and without supports. The buckets took my printer about 30 minutes each at 70% speed to ensure the struts have good adhesion to the supports. The clips do a great job of holding down the ducts and if you want some extra support, I'd recommend using small zip ties. Update: January 22nd, 2019 Version 2 of the frame has little notches on the corner to hold the duct in place rather than using zip ties. -Drew
