This is a custom enclosure designed for an electronic Mitutoyo 8" caliper. Manufactured with precision to fit within a 200mm X 200mm build area. Print two of each component, as they are perfectly symmetrical. A 0.050" rod was utilized for the hinge, bent at both ends to ensure secure alignment. Components are pressed together seamlessly, using a hammer and pin to secure them in place. To relieve any stress that may have accumulated during assembly, a heat gun is applied gently to each joint. Steel mesh and epoxy are used strategically to reinforce the joints and add extra stability.
