80/20 1010 (10S) T-Slot Linear Bearing Multi-Pack

This is a multi-pack for 3D printed replicas of standard commercial 80/20 brand linear bearings. I have experimented both with printing whole bearings and partial printed w/ bought pads. I think partially printed with purchased pads works the best, but pure printed ABS bearings do work although not great. Perhaps sanding & lubricant would help if you decide to go that route. I have also provided a cad model of the bearing pad itself if you have a low coefficient of friction filament like nylon or IGUS Tribo filament if you want to try and print your own (that might work pretty well, but i haven't tried it yet). EDIT 7-9-16: I just recieved some sample Tribo filament that i will test soon! This is for 1010 size and compatible 10 Series (10S) 1" Extruded Aluminum 80/20 brand t-slot. But the same could be done for others. CAD files were originally obtained from http://www.3dcontentcentral.com. I am using these for a custom DIY 3D printer. It will be 2ft x 2ft (609mm x 609mm). While i do like the real aluminum ones better they quickly become expensive, and i think 3D printed ones will work fine for many applications. PLA seems like a finicky filament to use in general, and less than ideal to use as a linear bearing / bushing as it might stick and create backlash. I just got my IGUS Tribo Filament samples the other day so i will now test some with the Iglide Tribo filament soon!
