This clamp is designed for 20x80 aluminium v-slot style extrusion (z-axis C-beam on a workbee cnc). Mounting holes are spaced 60 mm and work with regular M5x20 socket head screws. Two of these clamps are enough to fix an 80mm diameter body spindle (4.6kg is the weight of the 1.5kW water cooled version). It's made to be used in tandem: two identical clamps. To adjust the tilt of the spindle so to be perfectly vertical, if necessary, simply put one or more aluminium foil(s) between the upper or lower clamp and the extrusion. The ring incorporates hexagonal nut traps for M5 nut. That's the most simple clamp ever. Edit: the design is updated to be more strong and durable.
