I had a couple old #11 808 keychain cameras laying around and decided to build a simple low profile case that could mount on my helmet. These are not the best camera's but are great if you just want to video document a ride, and they are cheap. I wanted more recording time so added a compartment to hold a larger 540mAh battery that increases recording time to over 2 hours. I used small M2x6 screws to hold the tops on but you could just as well super glue them. The design is not at all water proof so riding in the rain is not an option. I used 'DAP Blue Stik adhesive putty' to secure the camera circuit card inside the case, and to rotate and secure the camera image sensor so it is horizontal when mounted on top or on the side of my helmet. The unit is attached to my helmet with velcro.
