This is an 80mm fan mount for the pre assembled Mk8 dual extruder by Geeetech. I would like to thank "bmxorcist" he was the one that inspired me to do this mod to my Hictop Aluminum Frame printer. I used his his firmware update and his "Prusa i3 Dual Mk8 X Carriage" (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1347192). I was not happy with not having any fan devoted to cooling the extruder, so after trying some other designs with multiple fans I came up with this. This design uses one 80mm fan to cool the extruders and the hot ends. I works well, a little to well. WARNING do not run the fan on full speed it will warp the print BAD. I don't run the fan at all for the first few layers and only run it at around 50% the rest of the time. My extruders stay cool and I used the two 40mm fans that came off the old design to cool my y and x axis motors. I also added LEDs because why not. Visibility to my hot end is better then I thought it would be. You can look directly through the fan and see both extruders great.
