I first created the 8bit Zombie for a video game back in 2008. Since then the image has been translated into a variety of formats. Here it is now in 2014 as a 3d print. This is the first in a series of 8bit inspired creatures that I'm thinking about releasing as miniatures for roleplaying and other fantasy tabletop games. #jvs3d #blackbirdandpeacock Instructions I used Photoshop to create the original 8bit image. I then translated the image into a vector so I could extrude it in a 3d program. Saving the extruded design as a .STL I could then resize, duplicate and move around the image in Makerware in preparation for printing. This model needs no rafts or supports. The .Thing is saved at 3" tall and 5/8" thick. I printed the 8bit Zombie in Glow in the Dark PLA on a Replicator 2.
