Because I feel very unease with all the wasted calibration tests that I do for different filaments, I wanted my tests to be somewhat useful as well, so I thought that Coffee Art Stencils would make a very good models for First Layer Calibration. My first design in this series is a cute Bear Cub that I printed at 0.2mm layer height so that the base only makes for a single layer for visual inspection. It came out as you see, other tests will follow, having different designs until I make myself a nice collection of shapes I can choose from when I am delivering the Saturday morning coffee to my wife :) . The size of the stencil (75mm) fits most of the common coffee cups, coffee mugs (some smaller version) and cappuccino glasses that I have in the kitchen. Should you have a different size preferred containers, resize accordingly in the slicer. I have provided the STL file, the GCODE file I used as well as the Design Spark Mechanical .rsdoc file (solid geometry) that you can use. Feel free to comment and make suggestions.
