8mm Hex Vase Case

<p>Couldn't find a bag of those nice pp drill protectors most router bits come in to get my tool box organized anywhere online, so i made a hex one that can be 3d printed. Can be scaled up at least 25% x/y for 10mm size and ridges still latch, scaling down not so much. Included a demo of a base holder you could theoretically make a hive out of in the source to insert the canisters into, tested upside down w/ heaviest set of bits i had and it held fine.</p> <h3>Printing</h3> <p>Vase mode, 3 bottom layers not 4, "cut" the base unit to about the size u want trying to hit in between two ridges.</p> <p>I printed with sainsmart petg and it was very nice but perhaps not as translucent as some would like, printed one out with pla w/o much more translucency and it was cracky and nush. Both likely do to my settings but meh.</p> Category: Organization
