Do not use as a replacement rod for a 3D printer rod. I printed at 30mm/s for good results. I only made this because I searched for "8mm rod" on Thingiverse and couldn't find one - instead, there are lots of accessories that go along with 8mm rods for 3D printers, but if an actual 8mm rod exists here, I couldn't find one. I didn't even know how to go about using 3D software - installed several programs and couldn't figure out what I was even doing, so I went to tinkercad.com and made it there, exported to .stl, and then resized the height to 170mm in Cura. So since I did the thing, here you go. One day, I'll have real things worth sharing...
