Like many people, I wanted to add some led strips to my desk. I have a new Ikea Bekant desk and am hesitant to put too many screw holes in it, so I've been using some various kinds of velcro to attach things to the underside of the desk. Besides having lights point down towards the floor, I also wanted to point some straight against the wall. I did not however want to stick a strip to the back edge of my table top because if I ever need to remove it, I didn't want the adhesive to take up any of the outer desk material, and I didn't think having the LED right on the edge of the desk would look great. I took this design and imported it into Tinkercad and added a thicker section to the back, also covering the screwhole, so that the LED channel could point torward the back of my desk and I could us an 1" thick velcro strip at the top to attach to my desk. I made three of these to secure the channel to the desk. The middle would served as a great way to connect two pieces of aluminum channel together as well. Worked perfectly!!
