This is a MOXON antenna for 915 Mhz drone telemetry. It has more directivity (and more gain) than a 1/2 wave whip - and works considerably better. Use 16GA bare copper wire. Press the wire into the grooves using a bench vise with soft jaws, then use a flat-blade screwdriver to seat the wire fully. The grooves are the proper length. The end with 2 sections is the "driven" element and is at the FRONT of the antenna. The "back" element is one piece and is the reflector. There is a groove in the middle so that a small coax can be routed UNDER the reflector wire on its way to the front of the antenna Use very short wires at the end of the coax to solder to the driven element. There are a lot of sources of MOXON information on the web. When you are done, use a small amount of CA glue to hold the wires firmly in the grooves. Finally, a GoPro - style clamp is provided so that you can mount the antenna to a convenient surface.
