I designed this after the OEM cover on my clutch safety switch cracked and allowed moisture to corrode the switch contacts. A malfunctioning switch can prevent the motorcycle from starting. If you need to disable the switch, follow the wires from the clutch into the wiring bundle behind the headlight. Unplug the two bullet connectors connecting the switch to the rest of the wiring harness and plug the two harness side connectors together. NOTE: in this configuration the motorcycle can be started with the clutch engaged which may be dangerous.
