96 Well Plate Press Stand

This is a stand to use to cap a 96-well round bottom plate. it will likely work with many other types of 96 well plates, but I made this specific for 96-well round bottom plates. I have also used it for 96 position screenmate tube holders. They are the same size as a round bottom plate. Basically, if you place a plastic cap mat on top of your plate, and want to seal it with more than your thumbs (and don't have the money for a plate sealer), print this out and buy a rolling pin (or use something long and round...). Place your plate in the center, use your thumbs to cap a few wells on either end of the plate, then roll your rolling pin over the top a few times, until you get a nice solid seal. You will not flip your plate or hurt your thumbs. The notches prevent you from rolling too far, and the long and wide base give plenty of support.
