This is a bracket for mounting an aftermarket stereo in your 99 Toyota RAV4. The car comes with such a bracket, but when thieves stole my stereo, they stole the bracket along with the radio. You will note that in the factory bracket, the side parts are connected to the bottom parts, affording additional strength to the mount. However, I wasn't mounting a particularly heavy replacement stereo, and didn't want to deal with peeling off the supports that would be necessary if i were to connect the side ears to the bottom bits, so i left my design in four parts, where the bottom pieces are pretty much there just to help center the stereo (and take some weight).
