9ml PYREX™ culture tubes are round bottom and the centrifuge usually do not have matching bucket for them. Commonly centrifuge buckets accommodate 10ml tubes which has conical bottom. This adaptor fits 9ml tube internally and has the same external dimension as 10ml tube. So common centrifuge can be used with this adaptor.
