A while ago i bought a soviet promin pn-3 night vision. A very heavy device (cast aluminium body) used by border patrols of the Warsaw Pact states such as the GDR. It takes 8 AA batteries to run. This battery adapter allows the night vision to work with a single 9V block battery instead of the 8 AAs, making the device 140g lighter and reducing the amount of batteries needed. The device is made to accept 12volts from a car adapter or the 8 AAs but works just as well with 9volt instead. Parts: 1x Nachtsicht9VHalter.stl 1x NachtsichtBattDeckel.stl 4x M3 countersunk screw 2x steel washers 2x M3 nut 1x 9v battery connector Assembly: Screw Nachtsicht9VHalter and NachtsichtBattDeckel together using 2 M3 countersunk screws. Use the remaining 2 screws to screw the washers to the top of Nachtsicht9VHalter to work as the connectors to the night vision. Screw the leads of the battery connector to the other end of the screws using 2 m3 nuts.
