9x50 Finderscope 1.25" Eyepiece adapter

An adapter for 9x50 Finderscopes to allow 1.25" eyepieces. I wanted to repurpose the finderscope from my Skywatcher telescope into a guide scope. My ZWO 120mini camera fits into a standard 1.25" eyepeice holder so I created this Thing to modify the finderscope. This may also work on 9x50 Finders by Orion and Celestron. This is a direct replacement for the crosshair eyepiece that comes with the finderscope. Unthread the existing back and screw in this Thing. Be gentle during assembly, you don't want to damage the threads, both on the Thing and on the finderscope. There may be paint in the thread grooves. I have the straight though finder. The thread is 51mm x 0.75. Note: some similar finderscopes have 1mm pitch threads. Unscrew the back piece and verify the thread pitch. This may work on right angle finderscopes, check to see if the rear end unscrews and has the proper thread. Please exercise caution if you are using this item to attach expensive cameras or other items. I take no responsibility for how strong it is. Requires 2 bolts and nuts. 1/8" x1/2" imperial or M3 should work. Cap screws would be a good choice.
