A crown gear and pinion

A crown gear and pinion are used to turn the dirction of rotation about 90 degrees. This one is small with the pinion only about 12mm and the crown about 36mm. It can be scaled up so long as you use the same scale for both part (Obviously- right?). But, I made them this small for use in small models. The pinion as it is made has a 3mm shaft hole with a boss for a set screw. about 4-40 in thread. Really, its just a demonstrator gear set., since the teeth are a bit fine for anything too powerful. But, it does work. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter How I Designed This Once again, Autocad first then imported into 3-D Design. I pretty much made this design up from scratch, nothing to say it is this or that specific established gear tooth standard. Just something that sort of meshed and made sense. Like I said earlier, it's a demonstrator set only.
