A gummy hero

Behold, he has seen things... horrible things. A young body, held within the grasp of terror, and eye corrupted by the fowl curse of sight. yet he remains. His youthful and vibrant mind held captive within a frail and damaged young body. Existing within a vibrant world, yet a world seen through his own eyes –eyes that lost the gift of sight long ago, leaving only the curse of it to remain. And thus, a world of hate and cruelty is all that passes through the fractured lenses. Once he was an adventurer, out to explore vast lands outside of his small community. A vibrant and beautiful world is yet to be explored by gummy kind, the only world they know is the safety of their home, so the young bear full of ambition and spirit set out to see the new worlds outside their kingdom through his eyes, and in turn all of gummy kind would see the outside world through his eyes. His young ambition fueled his quest, as he explored, the young gummy discovered countless wonders that stood just beyond the kingdom's gates. the young bear wandered on and found even greater things the farther he traveled. His map of the surrounding area was almost complete, when the young bear came upon a small gummy village. The yellow glossy walls that contained the citizens seemed almost unbreakable. Had it not been for a small hole, almost torn into the walls, the young adventurer never would have made it inside. Satisfied and content with discovering a new civilization, the young bear drifted into sleep. Screams of terror echoed in his mind, war cries and the fowl sent of sugary blood filled the air. The sun’s vengeful glare had fallen upon the kingdom, the young bear stood up and trudged through the cursed liquid, that now flooded the streets. In the center of the town –the center of horror, every surface covered in the cursed horror that filled his mind. Only after our young bear walked closer did the terror in his eyes truly take hold, a single gummy bear only “bear”ly alive due to the pile of other bears shielding him from the blinding heat of the sun. Rushing forward he grabbed the bear. Only then did the young adventurer realize, his own legs were almost no more, but even so, he trudged on. And thus the young adventurer carried the bear back to his homeland, he was hailed as a hero, but at what cost. His old eyes looked upon his homeland, but it was warp, twisted, distorted, he had seen things...
