A Medieval Throne

A Medieval Throne

thingiverse

The model throne is printed in three parts: the seat and back in one piece, and separate right and left side legs. There is also a dais for the throne to stand on, and a double-width dais for 'his and her' thrones. The scale 1:25 throne is 8.25cm. high and 3cm. wide. For those who still think in feet and inches, I have also included a 1:24 (or half inch to one foot) version which is a tiny bit bigger. There are slots and flanges to help with positioning the legs correctly, and a little Superglue will fix them permanently in place. All parts should be printed in the orientation shown in the pictures. The models in the pictures were printed on my Makerbot Replicator+ with a raft but without supports, at the default settings of 10% infill and a layer height of 0.2mm. PRINT TIMES (1:25 version): Throne (all three parts printed together) - 1h. 3m. Dais (single) - 1h. 14m. Dais (double) - 1h.54m. Print times for the 1:24 version are fractionally longer.
