a rotating hub experiment
thingiverse
Experience a frictionless internal hub that requires no bearings; this printable object is perfect for your ongoing project and entertaining to assemble. The smooth spinning motion ensures ease of use right after extraction from the printing bed. I utilized minimal infill at .1, with 2 bottom shells and 3 top shells during fabrication. A layer height of .3 was optimal. To enhance personalization, I've included a SketchUp file for modifications. This versatile object can accommodate a printer spool or any other desired application.
With this file you will be able to print a rotating hub experiment with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on a rotating hub experiment.
