I had a 120mm computer fan lying around and decided to build a fume extractor. It turned out my printer didn't like printing the whole thing, so I split it up into two halves to be glued together afterwards. The opening seen in the photo turned out to be quite small, so I updated the files to have a bigger one. The supports can be cut out to provide more airflow. I used wood screws to mount the fan into place. You can add a fan cover to avoid blocking the fan accidentally, http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:298648 has been working great for me.
