Holds a dial indicator to an A2Z CNC quick change tool holder. Used on 7x mini lathes. Easily center stock in a 4 jaw chuck. SketchUp file attached. This positions the dial indicator far away from the centerline of the lathe to better utilize the limited cross slide travel on a mini lathe. It holds a standard round indicator with a 1/4" x 1" lug on the back. Instructions Print. Support is needed for the dial indicator lug recess. I used a 3/4" long 1/4-20 screw to hold the dial indicator in place. Just thread into the plastic. The height adjustment is a 2" long 1/4-20 screw. The piece on the end of the height adjustment screw is a 1.25" diameter piece of aluminum that I tapped 1/4-20. Thread the screw into the plastic.
