The names for both the Apollo and Skylab space suits were Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU). The Apollo EMUs consisted of a Pressure Suit Assembly (PSA) aka 'suit' and a Portable Life Support System (PLSS) that was more commonly called the 'backpack'.
