<p>3/10/2022 update - replaced shell v2 .stl's with v3. &nbsp;Changes made to improve fit up and &nbsp;simplify source models.</p><p>A battery pack for GD-77 &amp; GA-510 style radios using 6 NiMH batteries (or 5 alkaline + 1 dummy). &nbsp;No internal recharging. &nbsp;A model for printing a diy dummy AA is included. A conductor will need to be added for it to be functional.</p><p>The two halves are joined using 4 3mm cap &nbsp;head screws and thermal threaded inserts. &nbsp;Battery terminals are of this type: &nbsp;</p><p><a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072379C1R">https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072379C1R</a></p><p>Contacts were cut from from nickel battery strip material like this:</p><p><a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DN8P1MS/">https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DN8P1MS/</a></p><p>Supports are needed, be sure to specify a support interface that facilitates easy &amp; complete removal.</p><p>Zvones52o did the heavy lifting with his battery eliminator back piece for the GD-77 ( <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2742838">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2742838</a> ), I used his architecture for the radio attachment layout.</p>
