AA Fake Battery Skeleton for M4x30 screws

AA Fake Battery Skeleton for M4x30 screws

thingiverse

Print this and insert a standard M4x30 screw into its top hole to have a skeleton, bare minimum AA fake battery. The screw does not have to be securely fastened because this assumes that in 99.9% of devices, there is anyway a spring in the battery compartment which would keep it in place. Designed to be printed quicky without support and adhesors, and quickly&roughly if needed. You can modify the hole depth and diameter if you are to use different screws ― in theory, any should work as long as the overall height is ~50mm. Keep in mind that the lack of the top brim may be a problem for devices that have a weakish battery spring yet have to undergo lots of mechanical movement. (But in normal conditions it works fine and has been tested.) Whether you want to attach the wire by soldering, inserting an open end into the hole and held in place with the very screw, between one or two nuts on the screw, etc., is your choice.
