Abacus

myminifactory

This is an abacus. It prints in one go without any supports. Note that it has to be turned around after printing for use (the feet will stick upwards to be printable) The default abacus has 4 balls of value 1 and one ball of value 5 on each rod. It has 13 rods. The abacus, also called a counting frame, is a calculating tool that was in use centuries before the adoption of the written modern numeral system and is still widely used by merchants, traders and clerks in Asia, Africa, and elsewhere. This printable version can be used as a teaching aid and to practice mental arithmetic.
