Abloy 342 and 362 Padlock Protective Lock Cover

The Abloy 362, especially with a Protec2 core, is one of the most unpickable padlocks made, with no one having been able to pick one on video, even with special $300 tools. With its 15mm shackle, it cannot be cut with bolt cutters. If you freeze it with liquid nitrogen and hit it with a sledge hammer, it won't break. But the lock is so nice, that it is close to too nice to actually use. This protective cover should help keep it from getting scraped up on pavement. Note that this lock won't even fit through 3/8 inch chain and most hasps, so make sure you can pass 15mm for your application. If the fit is too loose, then wrap a piece of electrical tape around the lock first, and then the fit should be snug. If you want to remove the cover, loop a belt around the shackle and something fixed, and then pull on the cover.
