Abnoba is an ancient Dryad who claimed for herself the domains of Foret-Noire (Black Forest). This region was once home to the Aes Sidhes who were enchanted and corrupted by Abnoba, creating the Goin Sidhes. Abonba is able to control the Goin Sidhes as if they were a collective mind and turning them into half-tree creatures when they feels threatened. The only way for a Goin Sidhe to be free is to break out of the grasp of Abnoba's power, rejecting his homeland and his own people.
