These chess pieces are made from simple circular bases that are lofted to simple square, rectangular and polygonal symbols to create curved surface blends between them that belies their simplicity. They all start from a circle of the diameter 30 mm and ends with a shape that fits an area no larger than 30 x 30 mm. The main pieces are 80 mm high and the pawns 50 mm. These are suited for a chess board square size of approximately 50 x 50 mm. You can from here scale the pieces proportionally up or down as needed. For a more luxurious feeling and if you have the time and filament I would highly recommend you print these pieces as solids as the added weight makes them feel much better in the hand and also makes them more easily handled.
