ABW-3DA8 Easy Filament Access Gate and Fan Cover

06- October - 2019 This is a remix of my original "Easy Filament Access Gate. The extruder wires always seemed vulnerable to me and after having an heater block worked loose, I decided the wires needed support..and also I wanted them to look a bit more tidy. I have got rid of add on fan covers as separate items and added a right side panel which covers the motor etc, and has a "clip" to hold the extruder wires and at the top a couple of holes to allow a zip tie to be threaded and hold the wires in place - above it a I made a piece that fits the right top bearing block ( extended the holes because I found some bearing slightly different but mainly to allow it to slide right a little to be directly over the lower clip. The filament access gate - I always found liable to pop open, the arm cannot get much longer and just enters the metal carrier. I have removed the heat sink - never needed - but to keep out dist and dirt, I have hadded a top cover... which allows the fan to blow out any filament chipping od the toothed extrude pully wheel. As a newbie I found it hard getting to change filament.. this gate makes it so easy and with practice... if your Anet board Allows "Pause Printing" - it is possible to change filament colour and continue printing - you need to do it 30 seconds - so prepare everything for the change over. Being aware we all like to "customise" ALL OUR add on...I have included both gate and cover designs - which allow the use of your own or other fan covers, This thing was made with Tinkercad.
