<p>This is a compact DC power supply that is powered with AC power. Wanted a lower power and adjustable compact supply to use on my desktop with spring terminals to quickly use with bare wire. &nbsp; No more searching for wall warts of the right voltage or building voltage dividers. &nbsp;Just dial in voltage and go. Cost around $40 USD to build.<br><br>AC input power: 85-265V(50/60Hz)</p><p>DC output power: 0-12V(12V limited by AC-DC board) / 0-5A(power supply is limited to 5A) - 60 watt power output total capable<br><br>BoM</p><p><a href="https://www.ebay.com/itm/122597013295">AC to DC power supply module</a><br><a href="https://www.amazon.com/UCTRONICS-Numerical-Stabilized-Converter-Adjustable/dp/B01LWXAC5E/">DP50V5A DC Voltage/Current Programmable Power Supply</a><br><a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZC4LNNY/">80mmx80mmx10mm 12V fan</a><br><a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33000882414.html">(2) Jack spring terminals</a><br><a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32849488389.html">Banana plug terminal</a><br><a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32987717201.html">Rocker Switch</a> (19mm x 12.4mm hole)<br>(4) <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/10000150053486.html">8mm M3 screw </a>- spring clip mount<br>(2) <a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/10000150053486.html">16mm M3 screw</a> - side mount<br>AC power cord(scavenge from old appliance or buy off Aliexpress or the like)<br><a href="https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K6RZ9Q2/">Rubber feet</a><br><a href="https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001627995396.html">100Ohm Resistor</a> - I used four ¼ watt 100 ohm resistors, two pairs in series for a 50ohm 1 watt equivalent resistor to slow the fan down<br><a href="https://www.amazon.com/Gauge-Wire-Solid-Hookup-Wires/product-reviews/B088KQFHV7/">22AWG project wire</a></p><p>Printing: 3mf files below also contain support blocker for main body.
