Accent Lamp

There are some electronics to this one, fairly easy though. This is a nice little corded lamp assembly to accent any nightstand, coffee table, end table or curio counter. The dimmer I used was specifically for an LED bulb, I don't know what a standard dimmer would do with an LED bulb but I figured I would spend the extra money not to find out. Besides, I saved a bunch of money on the bulbs, found these ones in the clearance isle and couldn't turn them down, so there was some extra money in the budget. I would imagine that any bulb and any rotary dimmer will work with this design, it doesn't have to be an accent bulb as shown here but I believe it has the greatest effect. Some components I used: It is a rotary Lutron Dalia Dimmer #RCL-153PNL I found mine at Home Depot locally, about $30 Store SKU #1007422096 Internet #319385269 A similar bulb to the one I found (Mine was Walmart Clearance Isle 2 for $2.50) It is a T9 Tubular Medium Base Dimmable LED Comparable one can be found at Home Depot for about $12 Store SKU #1006891588 Internet #313402112 Other than that, a porcelain medium lamp base can most definitely be found at Home Depot for around $5 Store SKU #142236 Internet #306198159 There you go, I kept the shopping simple for you. As I mentioned in the Youtube Video, I could have just bought this from Dollar General and saved a bunch of Money. It was the experience that counted the most though, making things the way I wanted too, must be expensive taste haha! A link to a YouTube video showing some details of assembly: https://youtu.be/BhXYUY2Vg8A Also, some fasteners are needed. All are #8-32 screws, I would imagine you could also find these at Home Depot. I used: (4) Socket Head 8-32 Screws x 3/4" long to attach the top to the shade (1) Socket Head 8-32 Screw x 1" long for the ceramic lampholder clamp (3) Socket Head 8-32 Screws x 3/4" long to attach the lampholder clamp to the base (2) Socket Head 8-32 Screws x 3/4" long for the cord clamp (4) Socket Head 8-32 Screws x 3/4" long to attach the shade to the base (4) Flat Head 8-32 Screws x 1/2" long for the bottom base cover The plug and 6ft cord was from my salvage pile, I'm certain this is also at Home Depot Other than that I used (4) sticky rubber bumpers on the bottom to keep it from scratching ***Update 11-24-22 Added files with "mm" suffix that don't need scaling when importing into Cura
