Acer XC-1660 Noctua NF-A9 PWM CPU Fan Adapter

<p>This is a fan adapter to replace the stock CoolerMaster CPU fan with a Noctua NF-A9 PWM in an Acer XC-1660 PC motherboard.</p><p>This fan adapter converts the 71.5mm stock fan bolt spacing to the larger square shroud on the Noctua NF-A9 PWM at 82.5mm. The stock CoolerMaster fan rattled and was extremely noisy. The Noctua is more efficient, cools faster, and is dead silent.</p><p>The 3mf file should include the support enforces necessary for the smaller screw tabs. I printed this out of Atomic Filament Carbon Fiber PETG for some extra thermal protection on the CPU heat sink.</p><p>Use the stock CPU fan screws to bolt the adapter to the heat sink and the stock Noctua screws to mount the Noctua fan to this adapter. It's tight to get a screwdriver to bite on these, but it can be done. Careful not to cross thread them back into the aluminum heatsink.</p>
