Every Bassist who have played an accoustic bass know what it is .... This Thumb Rest keep the acoustic Bass integrity. No holes are needed to install it. Instructions When an Bassist play bass generaly he have habit to put is thumb on bass microphone. The problem is that accoustic bass don't own microphone that permit to put the thumb. I've already seen Thumb Rest on accoustic bass but all of them required to make holes to fix it. I love my bass so i don't want to make hole on it. This why my idea to design this Thumb Rest.
