In my Woods Manufacturing class we were challenged to make a phone amp out of wood that was completely powerless. Even though this design was not really possible to mass produce in the shop, I feel that it has great potential being 3D printed on a SLS, SLA, or PolyJet printer The concept behind the design came to me when I was cooking and accidentally bumped my phone (which was playing music) under the edge of a paper plate. I was surprised to find that the rim of the paper plate actually amplified the sound. Hope you all enjoy my powerless phone amp
