Custom 3D printed and laser cut version of the board game Acquire. This version still uses the cards that come with the standard game. Models designed in Tinkercad. Board and box designed with Adobe Illustrator and Makercase. Box lid serves as game board. Box / board and tiles were cut using birch ply. Card holder and info plates were cut from 1/8th inch masonite. We got the best results by staining the box top and the 1/8th inch thick tile holder piece separately, then gluing them together. Pictured pieces were finished with tung oil. No supports required on hotel models.
