The plane was made using plans found on Pinterest (https://br.pinterest.com/pin/369084131948188371/). The mechanism was based on a gif found here (http://www.paperpino.net/wap/). From the site: "The main mechanism is based on two gears with ratio equal to 1.2 (18/15 teeth). The entire cycle is completed after five turns of the handle" (and six turns of the smaller gear).The propeller does not move with the plane, I made it moving on the animations to increase the effect.Modeled with Solidworks 2016.Rendered with Simlab Composer 7 Mechanical Edition.Frames edited with Virtualdub and saved as AVI/X264 and BMP.Video remuxed to MP4 with MyMP4BoxGui.Gifs made with PhotoScape.Renders edited with IrfanView.The 3D-PDF and SIMLAB files are animated.Model available in Solidworks 2016, Simlab Composer 7, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, 3D-PDF, SketchUp, 3DS, FBX and DWF.
