The QU-BD extruder didn't work for me. I didn't have a 624 bearing for bdring's mod or the other MK8 minimalistic mods but I do have a laser cutter. I used this for a few weeks without problems until my Solidoodle arrived. Spent a week screwing around with the QU-BD stock and couldn't take it anymore. This thing worked great and let me focus on printing, instead of the machine failures. Instructions Update: PDF, 2000 DXF and 2000 DWG added. Instructions are mostly within the files. Uses 608 bearings - Easy to get. Original pdf drawing pulled from http://reprap.org/wiki/Wade%27s_Geared_Extruder If you can get through a print with your QU-BD, might wanna try one of the mods like this one first. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:43411. It also uses a 608 bearing. Just about to give it a go myself.
