Keep checking back for updates as this is a work in progress. Please do let me know if you want custom modifications and I'll do my best to add them. A set of hexagonal display boxes originally designed for action artistically displaying figures though also great for other collections as well. This set includes: -Box O "Open" (an open basic hexagonal box) -Box OE "Open Extende" (a box like "box O" but with an extended shelf) -by seemingly popular demand -Box M "Mountable" (a mountable box that all other boxes can suspend from and includes a cover plate to hide screws) -Box ME "Mountable Extended" (a box like "box M" but with an extended shelf) - by seemingly popular demand -Box C "Closed" (a completely closed box with no insert recesses and sliced to customize for yourself) -Box CE "Closed Extended" (a box like "box C" but with an extended shelf) -by seemingly popular demand -Box PD "Probe Droid" which is designed especially for the SW Probe Droid (my action figures are all SW :) and includes a similar cover plate as for Box M -An Insert (which rests within the hex boxes for ease of positioning your figures) -Foot pegs (for action figures having holes in the feet for standing, etc which are placed on the action figure to secure them to the Insert) -Platform (which can be easily adjusted lengthwise and mounted where open spaces are left as illustrated in the photos). Each hex-box can be locked to an adjoining one with a hexagonal "dovetail" style connecting system. Many non-mountable boxes can be attached to each wall-mounted box so that there is no need to secure every box to your wall. The included photos should give ample examples of how the boxes can be arranged. As you can see from the photos I have used a wall mounted box every so often in the arrangement. No doubt they could have been spaced out even more than this. Of course you could use lots of color arrangements as well. I have printed my boxes on a Creality Ender 5+ "large scale" printer so I do not know the typical printing platform size of most other printers. These boxes are 185mm x 167mm x 40mm. I have printed these boxes with infills ranging from 0% to 100% and all work fine with no need of supports or rafting. Gap tolerances have been adjusted so that each box fits nicely together with no resistance (as long as they are straightly connected) while being tight enough to hang one from another without additional supports (other than the initial mounting box), of course this assumes that you are printing your boxes at a "standard quality "setting of .2mm (other settings may result in the backplate and other inserts not fitting as tightly as intended. Fun stuff for all of you collectors out there who would like a crafty way of displaying your (loose) collection. Enjoy.
