Active Cooling Stand for Motorola Surfboard Modem

Active Cooling Stand for Motorola Surfboard Modem

I designed this neat little Motorola modem stand with active cooling using a 40mmx10mm Notuca fan. I had a 'need' for this because I lay my modem on its side (vents facing down). I haven't had and issue with it overheating but when I clean I noticed the modem was FIRE HOT. So I figured active cooling would help extend its life. Parts that I used: Noctua NF-A4x10 5V, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin, 5V Version (40x10mm, Brown) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NEMGCIA HiLetgo 10pcs Micro USB to DIP Adapter 5pin Female Connector B Type PCB Converter pinboard https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07W844N43 The fan came with the PC case fan screws which I used to secure the bottom to the stand. But if you need the screws the are this style: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089PX5FSZ When printing, print the stand upside down with supports (as shown in photo of the model in the slicer) This stand will work with ALL Motorola Surfboard modems that are this style (that have a ~78mm square intend)
