This is my entry for the challenge. Shutter glasses are not a new invention and have been used by several manufactures e.g. Sony, Samsung. But my idea is how to control the glasses. For those who don't know how active shutter glasses work check out this quick tutorial ---> http://youtu.be/jr0wXi2KFzo?t=25s In fig.1 you can see that glasses are equipped with "R" and "S" switch. "R" stands for regular mode. In "R" mode spectator won't see subtitles on the screen. "S" stand for subtitle mode. In "S" mode spectator will see subtitles on the screen. For those who have difficulties in hearing can plug their headphones to the glasses headphone plug in. In fig.2 is presented how the system works. Step 1 spectators in "R" mode will only see the screen with their right eye without subtitles. Step 2 Spectators in "S" mode will only see the screen with their right eye with subtitles. Step 3 spectators in "R" mode will only see the screen with their left eye without subtitles. Step 4 Spectators in "S" mode will only see the screen with their left eye with subtitles.
