After looking at the other cases for the [Adafruit Mini Thermal Printer](https://www.adafruit.com/product/597) (Model No. 597), I decided to make my own to meet my needs. The result is a more classic design that you can also modify to your needs. The top lid is designed to fit snug against the back of the thermal printer, and there is a generous amount of room in the back to house the electronics. I also gave some extra room underneath the printer to help reduce strain on the wiring. Not enough room for your needs? Change the **gearSpace** variable at the top of the script. Need a little more space under the printer? Change the **printerZ** variable. The power supply port in the back of the enclosure was designed around a 2.1mm x 5.5mm female barrel connector. OpenSCAD file has been included for download. Happy tinkering!
