In keeping with other designs I've posted, I'm a fan of making it easy to install well-aligned headers on modules I use, in this case Adafruit's Ultimate GPS breakout. Simple to use: cut a 1x9 2.54mm/0.1" pin header and drop it long pins down into the fixture's channel, then drop the module on top of that and solder. Enjoy! Credit for Adafruit for the mechanical model use in the image above (and design of this fixture). I'm not an eagle user and didn't need all of the PCB components brought in for purposes of my design, thus all of the red rectangles in their place. So what I'm saying is Adafruit did a great job on their mechanical design, I just didn't bother to import the whole thing because I didn't need it.
