Adam, after his disobedience, haunted by his sin and his culpability. In order to suggest the irreparable commited in the Garden of Eden, the artist inspired himself with Michelangelos artworks. The huddled position as well as the muscular nudity of the character reminds the athletic Ignudi represented on the Sistine Chapel ceiling. Afflicted, Adam is falling into melancholy. The massive rock represents the weight of his remorse.   This object is part of "Scan The World". Scan the World is a non-profit initiative introduced by MyMiniFactory, through which we are creating a digital archive of fully 3D printable sculptures, artworks and landmarks from across the globe for the public to access for free.
