Adapter for Camera Tripod to Webcam Clip

<p>This is an adapter to make a cheap webcam with a clip somehow mountable on a camera tripod with a (us)-standard 1/4" screw on top.<br/> Basically it's a thread which goes on the screw of the tripod and a vertical plate for the webCam's funny clip.</p> <p>This cam was dirt cheap, registers as GEMBIRD USB2.0 PC CAMERA (1908:2311) and the clip might be useful if you wanted to fix the cam at the top of a pocket, like on your shirt. But why would I want that?</p> <p>I recommend to print it in fine resolution so that the thread is better defined. 0;12mm worked fine, 0,28 didn't.</p> <p>It's been designed for PLA, flex. filament might work even better with respect to giving the clip a grib but I didn't try it yet.</p> <p>I made two versions, the second is with a few ribbles on the surface to give that clip something to hold on.</p> <p>I took the thread from <a href="https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:995503">https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:995503</a> but cannot insert as a source of remix.</p> <p>FreeCAD source is included so you can adapt it or easily rip a part from it, have fun.</p> Category: 3D Printer Accessories
