This is an adapter for the SmatFarm G5 Aqua Star 90W LED marine and reef lamp and an Aqueon 55 gallon rimmed aquarium. The stock mount for the G5 lamp does not allow for a snug fit on rimmed aquariums and the instructions recommend modifying the tank rim to fit the lamp mount. This adapter fits over the lip on the aquarium to provide a square base for the mount with no tank or mount modification.
