Adapter: Quadrant Drive to 1/4" Hex

thingiverse

Converts between my Quadrant Drive and the ubiquitous 1/4" hex/allen (male). This allows you to use many common existing hand tools like ratcheting screwdrivers, drill chucks, etc, with Quadrant Drive. Instructions Just slice and print, it prints great with no support. I printed 2 at a time to help give the top layers time to cool (I printed these with ABS, no fan). Plus if you have 2 of them then you can make sure they mate together -- if 2 don't fit together, then you have some over-extruding or warping going on. In most cases you can just clean it up with a hobby knife. If you'd like a more snug fit, or you want to adapt it to a size other than 1/4" hex, just scale the whole model up appropriately -- remember, Quadrant Drive doesn't care how big it is, it will mate just fine with any other Quadrant Drive.
